Hebrews 10:19-38
TOPIC:
A CALL TO PERSEVERE
Believers are confident
that they can enter the holiest place through the blood of Jesus. Now that
Jesus is the Great Priest, a heart that is sincere and full of faith is needed
alongside a cleansed heart in order to enjoy of His bounties.
Anyone who possesses
such qualities should hold on to this hope. This is because the one who made
the proclamation is faithful.
In persevering, we
should spur other members of the body towards love and good deeds.
Make meeting together the
bond that should keep us encouraged since we do not have enough time to waste.
We should not deliberately sin because the penalty is judgment.
Therefore, do not throw
away your confidence due to the challenges we are going through now.
Persevere in doing His
will considering the fact that He will not tarry long from now. God will not be
happy if we choose to shrink back as His righteous ones.
QUESTION:
How are you persevering in your Christian journey?
PRAYER:
Father, thank You for spurring me to persevere. Help me not to shrink back
after testing of Your love, in Jesus name. Amen.
