TEXT: Ephesians
4:1-6
1. I,
therefore, the prisoner in the Lord, urge you to walk worthy of the calling you
have received,

with all humility and gentleness, with patience, accepting one another in love,

diligently keeping the unity of the Spirit with the peace that binds [us].

There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called to one hope at your
calling;

TOPIC: PROMOTE
UNITY AMONG BRETHREN
It is common to see people
who claim to be Christians quarrelling, backbiting, slandering and even
fighting one another in the church.
Sometimes the church is
divided along tribal and other lines. We should live lives worthy of our
calling as Christians, be humble and gentle, forgive and love our fellow
brethren.
We must make it a priority
to keep ourselves united in Christ and ensure that there is peace among us.
Church leaders must ensure that the vices that cause division in the church are
expunged while those virtues that promote unity and love should be encouraged.
QUESTION:
What are you doing to ensure that there is unity in your family and church?
PRAYER: O
Lord, please help me to be a promoter of peace and unity in my family, church
and everywhere I find myself, Amen.
