WILL VISIT US AGAIN
The God we serve is
merciful and has our best interest at heart. Even when we seek to go out of His
will for our lives, He always desires to bring us back to Him so that we can
enjoy the things He has planned for us.
Prophet Zechariah spoke
about the jealousy of God for Jerusalem and what the Lord promised to do for
them. He wants to restore the remnants and cause His blessings to be experienced
by both the young and old.
The city will flourish
because God is going to dwell with His people. It is important to remind
ourselves that God is always willing to dwell with us. All He desires is for us
to make ourselves available. But we are always busy doing other things,
forgetting that God is interested in blessing us.
We go to many places
seeking blessings and forget that it is God who truly blesses. Let’s turn our
attention to God to enjoy the blessings He has in store for us as we enjoy the
land He has prepared for us.
QUESTION: Where
have you focused your attention as you seek the Lord’s blessings?
PRAYER: Visit us again in the power of Your spirit and help
us to seek and appreciate Your presence as we continue to live here on earth,
in Jesus’ name. Amen.
