TOPIC: ASSURANCE
OF HIS PROMISES
God’s promises are not
like those of human beings who are most likely to renege. God has promised to
restore His people and bring them to the place of glory that He promised them.
They are supposed to be
the center of attraction that will draw people from other nations to seek His face
as well as identify with them because of the many things that God will do for
and through them.
God, however, drew their attention
to the need to return to the godly practices they abandoned. He instructed them
to be truthful, dispense justice in their courts, desist from swearing falsely
and acceptably practice their fasts.
God desires our undivided
loyalty as we live in ways that will attract others to Him. When we do these,
He will make us a force to be reckoned with in this generation.
QUESTION: What
impact are you making for God through your lifestyle?
PRAYER: Help me to understand Your will and grant me the
grace to fulfil Your mandate so that other people will experience Your
blessings, in Jesus’ name. Amen.
