Clinging to the Cross: Daily Reflections on Christ’s Love

SATURDAY, 1 FEBRUARY 2025

TEXT: Habakkuk 2:1-4

TOPIC: ARRIVAL OF A TARRYING VISION

The year 2024 was interesting in many respects.

Colloquially speaking, while the ECWA theme was asking members to wait for the vision, which itself was waiting for an appointed time, Nigerians were equally anxiously waiting in Renewed Hope for the economy of the country, under the new government, to improve. Were you also anxiously waiting in your country too?

So, last year was about waiting for the arrival and manifestation of a tarrying vision and hope.

This was attempted within the circumspect of God’s timing, which is very different from that of human beings.

As a church, ECWA steps out this year not just to keep waiting, but to break camp and move forward.

There is a propensity in many of us to remain static in what we consider our comfort zones and not make any move.

Are you caught in that web? Do you fear change? Are you afraid of venturing into the unfamiliar?

This is a new year with only a month so far spent. Don’t remain waiting on the ramparts like Habakkuk, complaining. Get up and move!

QUESTION: What is keeping you from advancing?

PRAYER:
Lord, move me forwards the direction of Your will today. Help me to sense it, help me to obey. Amen.

Remain Blessed

ECWA Food For The Day, 2025.

Happy New Month To All!
