Luke 21:29-30
29.
But she was greatly perplexed at what he said, and kept carefully considering
what kind of greeting this was.
30.
The angel said to her, “Do not be afraid, Mary, for you have found favor with
God.”

TOPIC:
I CONFER ON YOU A KINGDOM
It
is comforting to know that Jesus will confer on all faithful believers a
kingdom. We should reciprocate this conferment by feeding the hungry, providing
water for the thirsty and shelter to strangers, clothing the naked, looking
after the sick and visiting prisoners (Matthew 25:34-35).
James,
the half-brother of our Lord Jesus Christ, adds: “Religion that God our Father
accepts as pure and faultless is this; to look after orphans and widows in
their distress and to listen oneself from being polluted by the world” (James
1:27).
The
entire Bible speaks about our relationship with God and with one another. If you
do not have a good relationship with God and your fellow human beings, then you
do not know God.
QUESTION:
Do you care for the poor and needy?
PRAYER:
Thank You, dear Lord, for the privilege of an inheritance in heaven. Amen.
