THE ISAAC OFFERING
God once more tested
Abraham by asking him to sacrifice his only one and beloved son Isaac, whom he
had in his very old age, and so the possibility of his giving birth to another
one again was foreclosed, except for God performing another miracle.
The Isaac offering was
the test for Abraham to surrender and offer to God what was dearest and most
valuable to him in life.
And praise the Lord,
Abraham passed the test! Consequently, God not only blessed Abraham, He made
Abraham the channel of blessing for the entire world.
QUESTION:
Is God asking you for an ‘Isaac offering?’
PRAYER:
Oh Lord, I totally surrender my life and everything to You to use as You
please, in Jesus’ name. Amen.
