JOB 38:1-24
TOPIC:
THE LORD ANSWERS JOB(1)
It
is here that we hear God speak to Job himself in order to settle the dispute
between him and his friends. His friends were not talking to God but Job.
However, Job talked to God and the Lord spoke to Job.
Man's
effort may fail but God will always speak to believers. Job's suffering began
when a great wind killed his children but now the Lord of the storms speaks
from the whirlwind. He now called Job to account.
In
previous studies, Job insisted that God caused him pain. But before He answered
his questions, God showed Job that he was in no place to demand answers from
Him.
With
the appearance of God through the theophany, He showed that He had not
abandoned Job. God is Job's friend!
Brethren,
when we look at the situation in our country today, many people are suffering.
But it should be noted that, even in our suffering, God will not abandon His
own because He is a faithful God.
QUESTION: Have
you realised that God has not abandoned you?
PRAYER: Dear
Lord, in our hours of suffering and darkness, please speak Your peace to my
family and I today, this week and throughout this year. Let us hear You speak
during such hours, in Jesus name. Amen.
Remain
Blessed
