JOB 9:1-24
TOPIC:
JOB ACKNOWLEDGES FACTS ABOUT GOD
Here,
Job acknowledges that what Bildad said about God is true. He affirmed that God
is sovereign in His decisions and no one can either dispute Him or prove his
innocence before Him. He testifies to the profoundness of God's wisdom using several
instances of what God had done in His wisdom.
Job
acknowledged that there is no way he could dispute or argue with his creator,
instead, he would only plead for mercy. He showed his weakness and expressed
the mightiness of God in His strength. Job concluded that God cannot be
challenged because He is sovereign in His ways and decisions.
In
the world today just like Job, many people have been wrongly accused. They will
be charged for crimes they did not commit. That is a typical example of what
Job went through when he was wrongly accused by a close friend.
QUESTION: Have
you been accused wrongly and do you acknowledge that what God says about you is
true? Do you have a place in your heart to acknowledge Him and ask for His
mercy?
PRAYER: Lord
Jesus, I know that You are sovereign but I ask for mercy from the throne of
grace so I will not be distracted on this journey, in Jesus name. Amen.
Remain
Blessed
