TEXT:
2 Corinthians 8:16-24
TOPIC:
INTEGRITY MATTERS
Today,
we read about Titus’ contributions to the spiritual growth of the Corinthians.
Paul
touched on the aspect of integrity using, Luke or Barnabas. Paul knew that
anything that had to do with money was prone to criticisms.
However,
on the side of Paul, they were determined to do the right thing in the eyes of
God and man. Part of the lesson here is to always implement decisions on public
funds along with the people concerned without relying on your conscience alone.
On
matters of financial integrity, we should learn from Paul. He mentioned another
anonymous brother in verse 22 as one of those who were zealous in many ways.
Paul
also focused on Titus as a partner and fellow worker. Today’s pastors should
emulate Paul when it comes to relating with colleagues.
QUESTION:
What are you challenged to do differently today?
PRAYER: Father,
help me to gain Your trust and that of other people in matters of money, in
Jesus name. Amen.
Remain
Blessed
