TEXT:
NUMBERS 14:11-25
TOPIC:
UPHOLD YOUR BRETHREN, DON'T ALLOW THEM FALL.
The
rebellious attitude of some believers against God hinders them from benefitting
from the plans He has for them.
The
Israelites wanted to go back to Egypt, which incurred the wrath of God. Moses
played an intercessory role by pleading with God to spare them. Even when God
listened to Moses, He declared that none of them who saw His glory and yet
rebelled would ever enter the land.
Our
relationships with God and the opportunities that we have in relating with Him
should serve as an advantage as we continue this journey of faith. What God has
done for us as His children should always remind us of what He can do.
We
should learn from Moses by developing an attitude of intercession for other
brethren that might be experiencing what is referred to as the "valley
experience" so that God will bring them up and establish them.
QUESTION: Do
you castigate or pray for brethren who are passing through the challenges of
disobeying God?
PRAYER: Dear
Lord, make me, like Moses, to always intercede and not castigate my brethren
whenever they are passing through the challenges of life, in Jesus name. Amen.
Remain
Blessed
