DO NOT REBEL AGAINST GOD
Life
is full of challenges that sometimes make people do things they later regret.
Despite
the manifestations of God to the Israelites in diverse ways, they still chose
to believe the report of the ten spies over that of Joshua and Caleb. They
grumbled up to the point of planning to have another leader to take them back
to Egypt.
Caleb
and Joshua tried to dissuade them from taking that path, but they even wanted
to kill them because they believed the devil's lie that God will not be able to
give them the land.
Sometimes
Satan succeeds in deceiving us that God cannot and will not do what He said He
will do, thereby incurring the anger of God upon our lives.
We
must trust that He will SURELY do what He says He will do, no matter what is
happening.
QUESTION: Has
your unbelief ever led you to rebelling against God?
PRAYER: I
plead with You, dear Lord, to help me when I am at the lowest ebb of my life to
trust that You will do what You promised to do, in Jesus name. Amen.
