7. Behold, He is coming with the clouds, and every eye will see Him, even those who pierced Him; and all the tribes (nations) of the earth will mourn over Him [realizing their sin and guilt, and anticipating the coming wrath]. So it is to be. Amen.

TOPIC: REVIEWING THE YEAR OF GREATER GLORY

We christened 2022 as the year of greater glory considering how the Lord drew our attention to His coming with the clouds. This call had us see a different dimension of the Second Coming of Christ from that of Mark 13:26, where he comes in the clouds (KJV) or on the clouds (NLT).

This statement alludes to the fact that Christ in His Second Coming will appear in the sky; He will fill the sky as clouds cover it when rain is about to fall.

The Revelation 1:7 passage refers to Christ as coming with the clouds! Clouds in this instance refer to the company of angels and saints that will accompany Christ at His next coming (Mark 13:27; Hebrews 12:1).

The coming of Christ in the clouds and His coming with the clouds combine to make the bold statement that this endtime event demonstrate the great power of the coming King and the statement of those who will do His bidding at that time.

Where will you be when Christ returns? Will you be among this clouds of witnesses or will you be among those who pierced Him? The decision is yours to make!

QUESTION: How much closer are you to Christ as His Second Coming draws closer?

PRAYER: Draw me closer to You, dear Jesus. Let me get consumed by the expectation of Your next coming, Amen.
