TEXT:
2 Corinthians 10:3-5
3.
Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies
and God of all comfort,
4.
who comforts us in all our affliction, so that we may be able to comfort those
who are in affliction, with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted
by God.
5.
For as we share abundantly in Christ’s sufferings, so through Christ we share
abundantly in comfort too.

Bible)
TOPIC:
TAKING EVERY THOUGHT CAPTIVE TO THE OBEDIENCE OF CHRIST
The
mind is a person’s Central Processing Unit (CPU). It generates and processes
thoughts, which in turn form and execute every human action.
Today’s
Bible passage informs us about a battle that is going on in our minds and
thought life. This battle is meant to determine who takes control of the
thoughts of a person.
The
passage states clearly that this battle is not fought with weapons of the
world. It is fought in the spirit with the goal that every thought might be
taken captive to the obedience of Christ.
Victory
is made possible when you accept responsibility for the things that are allowed
into your thoughts. When thoughts change, behavior changes as well. Evil thoughts
are dealt with when they are confessed and forsaken, have to be replaced by the
right thoughts as listed in Philippians 4:8. Deliberately begin to feed your
mind on God’s Word and evil actions will begin to be uncomfortable in your
life.
Start
this lifestyle this Monday and you will have a testimony by the end of the
week!
QUESTION:
Who is in charge of your thought life?
PRAYER:
Grant me sensitivity to know when my thoughts are derailing. Grant me grace to
return to You. Amen.
Remain
Blessed
