YOUR MINISTRY IN FAITHFULNESS
God always uses men to accomplish
His purposes on earth. He chose the tribe of Levi to be His mouthpiece. They were
responsible for providing spiritual leadership by instructing the people about
God.
The priests, however,
decided to do things their own way and relegated God’s desires to the
background. This singular act made God addressed them as He did in today’s
passage.
It is important to know
that everyone called to God is expected to fulfill His mandate for their lives.
Anything we do other than meeting God’s desires has consequences.
God caused the priests to
be despised and humiliated. He can also make anyone who despises His call upon
his life face similar challenges. You need to check what you are doing as a
servant of God.
QUESTION: Do
you faithfully do the things that God has called you to do?
PRAYER: Forgive me for allowing my interest to override
your desires for my life and help me to return to the place you have called me
to in Jesus’ name. Amen.
