TOPIC: HONOUR
GOD
Our understanding of God
is manifested in the way we relate with Him. Some people see God as the
ultimate and give Him the best of their lives. Others see God as a person they
can play around with and do whatever they want to do to Him.
Good expressed His
displeasure with the attitude of the Israelites, especially the sacrifices they
bring to Him. They take the best and give Him the bad ones.
Because that was
dishonourable and disrespectful, He drew their attention through a very serious
rebuke. We should understand that the God we serve deserves the greatest honour
and respect for Him to bless us.
QUESTION: Do
you honour God in all aspects of your life?
PRAYER: I bow in repentance, dear Lord, for not honouring
You. Help me to give You the respect You deserve, in Jesus’ name. Amen.
