HATES DIVORCE
God has never compromised
His stand against syncretism, divorce and false religion.
Judah got herself entangled
with other nations, thereby breaking the heart of God. The priests also broke
faith with the wives of their youth. God did not tolerate these acts.
We must understand that
mixing Christianity with other beliefs is seriously against the plans of God
and separation and, or divorce is not accepted by Him.
People, for their own
comfort, support these acts even when God says He hates them (Malachi 2:16). We
must turn away from any acts that combine God with idols ad mend our broken
marital relationships so that we can practice pure religion.
QUESTION: How
is your relationship with God and with your spouse?
PRAYER: Deliver Your people from the sin of mixing Christ
with other gods and help us heal our broken relationships with our spouses, in
Jesus’ name. Amen.
