GOD IS NOT MISSING
Today’s test assumes
that God has gone missing. You wonder why, in spite of the prophet’s heroism,
he has seemingly been abandoned at the mercy of queen Jezebel.
Is God not able to
handle Jezebel? Well, He is not missing! He proves that through the gentle
whisper! Or a still small voice as the King James Version renders it.
In seeking God and His
will, there are times your expectations are not met. In seeking God and His
will, there are times your expectations are not met.
When such times come,
seek God more! As it often turns out, when you think God is missing over your
case, you are actually the one who is missing, and need to retrace your way
back to Him.
This is midweek, and
you may be counting down on a very important expectation. There are still a few
more days to the end of the week; gear up – don’t give up.
God will show up sooner
than you expect. But even if He does not, seek Him more – He has not gone
missing!
QUESTION:
God is not missing – have you learned that yet?
PRAYER:
Ever-present God, thank You for being with me through every situation. Keep me
seeking and seeking You. Amen.
