says: “When seventy years are completed for Babylon, I will come to you and
fulfill my good promise to bring you back to this place.
11: For I know the plans
I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you,
plans to give you hope and a future.

TOPIC: ALIGNING
WITH GOD’S PLAN
Most people who drive
cars have an understanding of wheel alignment. It is a mechanical adjustment
done to the suspension system of a car to ensure that its wheels are in the
correct position.
The Lord, in today's
text, is declaring to His children that after the seventy years of captivity in
Babylon are over, they will be brought back to their land.
The many promises in
God's Word concerning the land He gave the Jews are sacrosanct, regardless of
their current land tussle with the Palestinians.
Many times, we fall out
of alignment with God's plan for our lives. When this happens, we face many
consequences just like the car's tyres that wear out unevenly when they are not
well aligned.
Avoid spiritual
misalignment in order to benefit from God's plans for you.
QUESTION:
When last did you check your spiritual alignment?
PRAYER:
Align me back into position, my God. Help me to remain aligned, for my good and
for Your glory. Amen.
