NUMBERS 17:1-13
TOPIC:
TRUST IN THE CHOICE OF THE LORD
God
always has ways of drawing the attention of His people to the purposes He has
for their lives.
Despite
the rebellious attitude of the Israelites, God established His supremacy in the
choice of Aaron so that they would forever keep quiet and stop complaining.
We
must understand that God's favour upon a person causes him to do great and
unequal things amongst his equals; he could even lead people who are older and
more exposed that him.
The
staff of Aaron budded and the people were very scared. But they pleaded that
theirt lives be spared and committed themselves to the supremacy of the will of
God.
We
must learn to follow the will of God even when that does not appear to be what
we want.
QUESTION: How
does God lead you?
PRAYER: Help
me, dear Lord, to be submissive to Your leading in my life, even when that does
not appear to be what we want, in Jesus name. Amen.
