THE
ANGER OF THE LORD
The
Lord, who is merciful and abounding in love, is equally one whose anger burns
when ignited by the sins of the people.
Because
Moses and Aaron interceded on behalf of Israel, God did not punish the entire nation
but focused on Korah, Dathan and Abiram. Moses spoke about the fact that God
was going to do something unusual.
When
we choose to stand against the people of God as they perform their duties or
choose to disrespect and challenge all they are doing, God's anger will
definitely be kindled upon us until when we repent.
Check
your attitude towards those that God has anointed and decide to treat them with
respect because they are God's representatives.
QUESTION: Have
you ever been involved in a rebellion in the house of God?
PRAYER: Father in heaven, please forgive me for treating those You have anointed over Your Church with contempt. Please help me to accord them the needed support so that Your work will prosper, in Jesus name. Amen.
