Since God is our direction, compass and sailor we have to seek early in the morning before starting anything in a day so that we should not miss the direction where we are going. That is why daily devotion is very important in the life of a believer to seek Him first in the morning.
If you are a believer in Christ Jesus and you have not find it necessary to read the Scripture and pray early in the morning, then this post is encouraging us to do so. To always seek the face of our God for everything.

TEXT:
Mark 10:46-52
46.
Then they came to Jericho. And as He was leaving Jericho with His disciples and
a large crowd, a blind beggar, Bartimaeus, the son of Timaeus, was sitting
beside the road [as was his custom].
47.
When Bartimaeus heard that it was Jesus of Nazareth, he began to shout and say,
“Jesus, Son of David (Messiah), have mercy on me!”
48.
Many sternly rebuked him, telling him to keep still and be quiet; but he kept
on shouting out all the more, “Son of David (Messiah), have mercy on me!”
49.
Jesus stopped and said, “Call him.” So they called the blind man, telling him,
“Take courage, get up! He is calling for you.”
50.
Throwing his cloak aside, he jumped up and came to Jesus.
51.
And Jesus said, “What do you want me to do for?” The blind man said to Him,
“Rabboni (my Master), let me regain my sight.”
52.
Jesus said to him, “Go; your faith [and confident trust in My power] has made
you well.” Immediately he regained his sight and began following Jesus on the
road.

TOPIC:
TRUE FAITH IS UNSTOPPABLE
The
scenario in today’s text presents a blind man who had faith that Jesus heal
him, despite all opposition around him. The moment he heard Jesus was passing
where he sat and begged for alms, he began to shout, calling upon Jesus to have
mercy rather than simply requesting for healing? Perhaps the answer is found in
the way he addressed Jesus as “Jesus, Son of David.”
This
indicates that he believed Jesus was not just an ordinary rabbi or prophet but
The Messiah Who fulfilled the prophecy regarding the salvation of Israel.
Perhaps he believed Jesus could heal both his physical and spiritual blindness,
hence his cry, “have mercy on me.” The crowd saw the blind Bartimaeus as a
nuisance and obstruction that must be silenced, but his enduring faith
empowered him to raise his voice above their noise.
No
matter what challenges you are facing, your enduring faith will overcome for
you and, surely, Jesus will rescue you.
QUESTION:
What obstacles are standing before you which are challenging your faith?
PRAYER:
Like blind Bartimaeus, dear Lord Jesus, have mercy on me and strengthen my
faith in You that I may stay focused on You, despite the opposition all around
me. Amen.
Remain
Blessed
