TEXT:
Revelation 20:11-15
11.
And I saw a great white throne and Him who was seated upon it, from whose
presence earth and heaven fled away, and no place was found for them [for this
heaven and earth are passing away].
12.
And I saw the dead, the great and the small, standing before the throne, and
books were opened. Then another book was opened, which is the Book of Life; and
the dead were judged according to what they had done as written in the books
[that is, everything done while on earth].
13.
And the sea gave up the dead who were in it, and death and Hades (the realm of
the dead) surrendered the dead who were in them; and they were judged and
sentenced, every one according to their deeds.
14.
Then death and Hades [the realm of the dead] were thrown into the lake of fire.
This is the second death, the lake of fire [the eternal separation from God].
15.
And if anyone’s name was not found written in the Book of Life, he was hurled
into the lake of fire.

Version Holy Bible)
TOPIC:
JUDGING THE UNBELIEVERS
One always wonders why
people panic when they appear before judges. Some use their power or wealth to
ensure that they do not go before the judge.
So we can imagine what
will happen when unbelievers who are considered as condemned criminals go
before the white throne of the everlasting and most glorious King of the
universe.
This judge does not
take bribe and cannot be persuaded by an associate or a great person. All
unbelievers (both dead and alive) are considered dead because they are
condemned criminals. Anyone whose name is not found in the book of life will be
“thrown into the lake of fire” (v. 15).
Therefore, every person
on earth should make sure that his or her name is written in the book of life
before it is too late. One can only escape that judgment by accepting Christ
(John 5:24).
And those of us that
are already in Christ should be celebrating our salvation and be serious with
our lives and service to the Lord. There is no condemnation on us, except
judgment for our good works which shall grant us good or glorious rewards.
QUESTION:
Are you prepared for the judgment day?
PRAYER:
Dear Lord, thank You for saving me, Amen.
Remain
Blessed
