1.
I lift you high in praise, my God, O my King! And I’ll bless your name into
eternity.

God is magnificent; he can never be praised enough. There are no boundaries to

Generation after generation stands in awe of your work; each one tells stories
of your mighty acts.

Your beauty and splendor have everyone talking; I compose songs on your

The fame of your goodness spreads across the country; your righteousness is on
everyone’s lips.

kingdom.
13.
Your kingdom is a kingdom eternal; you never get voted out of office. God
always does what he says, and is gracious in everything he does.

TOPIC:
GLORY OF THE KING AND HIS KINGDOM
The Psalmist starts by
praising God, the everlasting King. Although David was a king, he knew that one
should give the Lord the highest respect as one approaches His throne. David
uses this key phrase to offer respect honor and glory to Him as the King who
rules over Him: “I will exalt you, my God the King” (v. 1). He also speaks of
God’s “power” and “awesome work” in verse 6.
Truly, our Lord is
above all powers in heaven and on earth. We need to offer Him total honor and
glory as our eternal and glorious King whose kingdom reflects His glory, might
and splendor (vs. 11, 12). Verse 13 speaks about our king’s everlasting kingdom
which has dominion over all other kingdoms. This refers to the Messianic
Kingdom!
We must willingly offer
lively worship to honor and glorify Him. He is our mighty King who rules the
entire universe. And, most importantly, He will soon come to establish His
kingdom, along with the faithful.
QUESTION:
Are you a child of God’s kingdom?
PRAYER:
Thank You, dear Lord, for accepting me to be among those that will enjoy Your
kingdom, in Jesus name, Amen.
Remain
Blessed
