ACCUSATIONS
Our lives are full of
uncertainties. Some people falsely accuse others just because of what they were
told about that person or even through what they just imagined about the
individual.
Jesus addressed the
Jewish leaders who were misinformed or for their lack of proper understanding
of His personhood. They saw Him as ordinary man whom they could confront and not
necessarily as the savior He is.
We must have a deep
knowledge of Christ as well as seek to know things in their fullness before
reaching any conclusions so as to avoid having the wrong impression about brethren
and damage the sweet relationship that God has called us to enjoy.
QUESTION: What
was your response to the negative rumors you heard about a fellow Christian?
PRAYER: Help me, dear Lord, to close my ears to any
negative comment aimed at making me accuse a fellow believer and grant me the
grace to always stand by the truth. Amen.
