WEDNESDAY, 24 SEPTEMBER 2025
TEXT: ZECHARIAH
9:14-17
14: Then the Lord will
appear over them; his arrow will flash like lightning. The Sovereign Lord will
sound the trumpet; he will march in the storms of the south,
15: and the Lord Almighty
will shield them. They will destroy and overcome with slingstones. They will
drink and roar as with wine; they will be full like a bowl used for sprinkling
the corners of the altar.
16: The Lord their God
will save his people on that day as a shepherd saves his flock. They will
sparkle in his land like jewels in a crown.
17: How attractive and
beautiful they will be! Grain will make the young men thrive, and new wine the
young women.

TOPIC: HE WILL DO IT
The
deliverance that God will work for His people against their enemies will be
complete for He is a God that starts a thing and brings it to fruition.
The
deliverance will present His people to the world in a new dimension.
Verse
17 gives us the picture of the beauty that God will cause to be seen in the
young men and women.
We
ought to understand that our God is sovereign and powerful enough to deliver us
from the challenges that come from the forces of darkness.
As
long as we trust in Him, He will showcase us to the world as His people whom He
blesses and protects.
QUESTION: What are your thoughts about God as you battle the
challenges of life?
PRAYER: Help me, O Lord, to remain focused on You as I
experience Your deliverance even in the midst of the pressures that I am
exposed to, in Jesus' name. Amen.
