TEXT: EPHESIANS
2:19-22
19: Consequently, you are
no longer foreigners and strangers, but fellow citizens with God’s people and
also members of his household,
20: built on the
foundation of the apostles and prophets, with Christ Jesus himself as the chief
cornerstone.
21: In him the whole
building is joined together and rises to become a holy temple in the Lord.
22: And in him you too
are being built together to become a dwelling in which God lives by his Spirit.

Version Holy Bible)
TOPIC: NO
MORE STRANGERS IN THE KINGDOM
Paul shows the Ephesian
believers that their newfound faith in Christ gave them a close relationship
with the saints and made them fellow citizens of God's household.
As citizens, they are not
inferior to any other believers because they were established upon the
foundation of the apostles and prophets.
They are already seated
with Christ far “above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion”
(1:13,21).
The idols and the gods of
the past have no power over them, and so they need to see themselves as
belonging to the superior power in Christ.
Your new culture should
be based on reading and studying the Bible and praying as the early apostles
did.
QUESTION:
Are there still fears haunting you despite your new faith in Christ?
PRAYER:
Keep me steadfast, dear Lord, to my faith as a member of the Kingdom of Christ,
in Jesus' name. Amen.

Remain
Blessed
