Ezra 5:1-17
TOPIC:
OBSTACLES WHILE CARRYING OUT GOD’S MANDATE
No meaningful task comes
to fruition without hitches.
In today's passage, we
read about the task of rebuilding the Temple. There was man power ready to
carry out the task. However, obstacles from the top tried to stop the work.
You could be facing the
same hurdles today as you struggle to do the right thing. However, do not
despair as the eyes of the Lord are watching you. He will provide all the
necessary means required to carry out the task to meet His goals as reflected
in verse 5.
QUESTION:
Why
must you not give up carrying out God's mandate?
PRAYER:
Father,
sometimes I feel like throwing in the towel due to people's pressure on me
while carrying out Your instructions. Help me to persevere, in Jesus' name.
