TOPIC: LEARNING
FROM A MAN WHO SOUGHT GOD
The story of Enoch is
intriguing for two fascinating reasons. First, he was the father of Methuselah,
the man that lived the longest on earth. Second, Enoch was the second man in
the history of God's creation to be taken to heaven alive.
It is worthy to note,
however, that these great wonders had a beginning in Enoch's life. No recorded
exploits existed for the first 65 years of his life. Methuselah was born to
Enoch at 65 and then we read that he began to walk with God!
Some have suggested that
after the birth of his son, God may have given Enoch a hint of the food, which
later occurred after the death of Methuselah (Gen. 7:10-12).
They conclude that this
privileged hint may have been the reason Enoch started his walk with you God.
Whatever the reason, the end of a matter is always better than its beginning.
As you ponder on your
past, it may be that it was rough and better described as wasted. There is
still hope for you!
You can begin today on
your journey to seek God with all your heart. The God of Enoch is with you.
QUESTION:
Where are you in your journey with God?
PRAYER:
Give me a new beginning, dear Lord. Help me to seek You with all my heart Amen.

Remain
Blessed
