Genesis 20:1-18
TOPIC:
GOD IS MORE THAN ABLE TO PROTECT AND DELIVER YOU
Although Abraham’s
faith failed him again and he told Sarah to tell a lie (half-truth), that she
was his sister, in order to protect him from people he perceived were godless
and wicked.
God again in His mercy
and grace, came to the aid of His weak servant and protected him and his wife.
We are living in an
increasingly godless and wicked society, similar to the situation that Abraham
and Sarah found themselves in.
Today’s passage should
encourage us not to fear, but trust in God, because He is more than able to
protect and deliver us from any situation, no matter how godless the people may
be. Emphatically, God is more than able.
QUESTION:
Are you living in a very godless society?
PRAYER:
Oh Lord, protect and deliver me and my family from the godlessness society in
which we live, in Jesus’ name. Amen.
