Psalm 115:1-18
TOPIC:
TO GOD BE ALL THE GLORY
The God we serve is the
only one and true God. He is different from the gods other nations serve and we
are called to recognize this and pronounce this wherever we find ourselves.
Failure to do so will
make them doubt our great and mighty God. While their different gods are the
lifeless handiwork of human beings, we must be seen to trust in our living God
who is our shield and remembers us when we are in trouble.
As we cross into a new
year, we must unreservedly trust and serve this God so that the nations of the
world will know Him for whom He is.
It is not for us but
for the glory of His name and His love and faithfulness.
QUESTION:
Have you trusted your God well enough to make other gods and their worshippers
bow down to Him?
PRAYER:
Dear Father in heaven, I ask for the grace to help me manifest my love and
trust for You until all the gods of the other nations of the world bow down to
You, in Jesus name. Amen.
