TEXT:
Luke 2:21-38
TOPIC: CELEBRATE
THE SAVIOUR
Today’s passage is
about two great individuals who should serve as an example of how to celebrate
Christmas.
When Jesus’ earthly
parents took Him to the temple to fulfil the law, Simeon the righteous man saw
Jesus and celebrated Him as the savior of mankind. He felt that, at last, he
could peacefully depart this earth for his eyes had finally seen the salvation
of God.
The prophetess Anna
also spoke well about the child and gave thanks to God because the child would
bring redemption to the world.
We must remember the
greatness of the miracle that happened in the birth of this child and always
return thanks to God for His work of salvation.
QUESTION:
What do you think about the celebration of Christmas?
PRAYER: Father, please help me to understand the importance of this great event and help me to always celebrate You as long as I live, in Jesus name. Amen.
Remain
Blessed
