TEXT:
2 CORINTHIANS 4:7-18
TOPIC:
THE INNER MAN MUST REFLECT CHRIST
In
today's reading Paul uses the nature of storage in his time to drive home a
spiritual lesson.
As
believers, we are hard pressed about issues of daily life. Depending on one's
level of maturity in Christ, spiritual challenges can come from fellow church
members or unbelievers. Sometimes we are crushed by other people's words. At
other times, we are persecuted simply because we love Christ.
Part
of our calling entails we ensure that our mortal bodies are prepared to go
through different difficulties to have the life of Jesus revealed in us. Our
souls must be given over to death for others to live.
In
the midst of all these, we are promised an overwhelming thanksgiving in God.
QUESTION: At
what rate is your spirituality growing?
PRAYER: Father
help me to grow through my life's challenges so that my inner man will reflect
You, in Jesus name. Amen.
Remain
Blessed
