TEXT:
2 Corinthians 4:1-6
TOPIC:
CONNECTING WITH JESUS
Those whose hearts are
connected to Jesus stick to what God had entrusted on them to do.
Unfortunately, there
are many manipulative ways that people are using to do ministry. Paul calls it
a deception that distorts God’s truth.
We are living in a
system where godly values are being replaced by what the world system is
upholding. As genuine believers, we should not preach ourselves but Jesus
Christ.
Last year’s general
elections in Nigeria along with the change in their currency made us see
principles of darkness at work in both our political leaders and POS agents.
It is obvious that
corruption is not only limited to leaders but almost all Nigerians are actively
engaged in it. Nigeria is blessed with so many church goers but they make very
little impact on their communities because of the disconnect between what we
know and how we live – the head and the heart.
QUESTION:
To what extent do you connect the head and the heart with Jesus in matters of
faith?
PRAYER:
Father, I realise that I don’t need to blame my leaders for being corrupt when
I am also corrupt. Teach me to connect my head and my heart in matters of
faith, in Jesus name. Amen.
Remain
Blessed
