Hebrews 12:12-29
TOPIC:
A CALL TO SIT UP
We are called into a
business where we must be alert at all times. Part of the process of being
alert is to live in peace with all men and be holy.
We sometimes talk about
striving to be at peace with fellow humans but do not think so much about
holiness. We must understand that holiness is the holy only criteria for seeing
God.
In striving to sit up
in your spiritual walk, remember GRACE and do not miss out on it.
Sexual immorality and
godlessness are acts of selling out our birth rights. Do not forget that our
position as children of God is precious.
We belong to the church
of the first born and our names are already written in heaven. We are under the
cover of the blood that speaks a better word than that of Abel.
Our kingdom cannot be
shaken. Above all, our God is a consuming fire.
QUESTION:
How are you sitting up in matters of your salvation?
PRAYER:
Father, the world is becoming more and more difficult for me to sit up in
regarding mattes of eternity. Hold my hand and lead me towards issues that are
righteous, in Jesus name. Amen.
