TEXT:
Ephesians 5:15-20
15.
Act like people with good sense and not like fools.
16.
These are evil times, so make every minute count.
17.
Don’t be stupid. Instead, find out what the Lord wants you to do.
18.
Don’t destroy yourself by getting drunk, but let the Spirit fill your life.
19.
When you meet together, sing psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs, as you praise
the Lord with all your heart.
20.
Always use the name of our Lord Jesus Christ to thank God the Father for
everything.

Bible)
TOPIC:
BE FILLED WITH THE HOLY SPIRIT
The
Christian should be an example wherever he finds himself because of his
relationship with Christ.
Yesterday,
we established that we are called to represent Christ in the public square as
Christians.
Paul
further drew the attention of the Ephesian believers to the reality of their
calling and the challenges they were facing.
He
encouraged them to be very careful not to live as fools but be wise so as to
take advantage of the opportunities God brings their way daily. A close contact
with God will reveal His will which help us influence others positively.
When
a Christian is involved in drunkenness, Christ’s testimony will ebb in his
life. But when he gets filled with the Holy Spirit, the witness of Christ will
be great.
So,
we need to be filled with the Spirit of God as a mark of our wisdom.
QUESTION:
Are you filled with the Holy Spirit?
PRAYER:
Grant me the wisdom to fulfil Your desires for my life as I live today and
forever, in Jesus name. Amen.
Remain
Blessed
