WEDNESDAY,

TEXT:
Revelation 22:1-7
1.
Then the angel showed me the river of the water of life, as clear as crystal,
flowing from the throne of God and of the Lamb.
2.
down the middle of the great street of the city. On each side of the river
stood the tree of life, bearing twelve crops of fruit, yielding its fruit every
month. And the leaves of the tree are for the healing of the nations.
3.
No longer will there be any curse. The throne of God and of the Lamb will be in
the city, and his servants will serve him.
4.
They will see his face, and his name will be on their foreheads.
5.
There will be no more night. They will not need the light of a lamb or the
light of the sun, for the Lord God will give them light. And they will reign
for ever and ever.
6.
The angel said to me, “These words are trustworthy and true. The Lord, the God who
inspire the prophets, sent his angel to show his servants the things that must
soon take place.”
7.
“Look, I am coming soon! Blessed is the one who keeps the words of the prophecy
written in this scroll.”

TOPIC:
A GLIMPSE AT THE SWEET NATURE OF HEAVEN
The vision revealed to John
here is of a heavenly and glorious nature that is beyond comparison. Although
it is beautiful and glorious to the human imagination, I believe the nature of
heaven is beyond human imagination.
Wow, there will be
great excitement! Above all, the throne of God the Father and God the Son (the
lamb) shall be at the center of the city which will capture the attention of
every citizen of the kingdom.
What a great seat of
the great government! Can you even begin to imagine how beautiful the river in
the middle of the city shall look like? A great and wonderful tree of life will
also be made available for every citizen of the kingdom and its fruits shall
see the King face to face and there will be permanent light, unlike what
happens in Nigeria where there are constant power outages.
QUESTION:
Are you excited about our future glorious city?
PRAYER:
Thank You, dear Lord, for the plan You have for Your believers, including even
me, Amen.
